Introducing the Finger Spool Keychain: Titanium, Tiny, and Totally Unnecessary (But You Want One Anyway)

We've done it. We've officially reached peak overengineering.

The Finger Spool Keychain is here - a fully functional miniature spool machined from Grade 2 anodized titanium that serves absolutely no critical purpose in your dive kit. And yet, you're probably going to want one.

Finger Spool Charm/Keychain All Colors

What Even Is This?

It's exactly what it sounds like: a 1.2" (30mm) diameter, 0.5" (12mm) height spool made from the same titanium we'd use for actual dive gear. Why? Because we don't know how to build things that aren't overbuilt.

Available in four anodized colors - Yellow Gold, Purple Pink, Deep Blue, and Pink Blue - these mini spools work as keychains, fidget tools, gear bag charms, or conversation starters at the dive shop.

Could you technically run a jump line with it? Sure, if your jump is measured in inches instead of feet. But let's be real: this is mainly here to look good on your keys and give you something to fidget with during surface intervals.

Why Titanium?

Good question. The honest answer is: why not?

We could've made these from aluminum or steel, but titanium is lighter, stronger, and more corrosion-resistant. Plus, it takes anodizing beautifully, which is how we got those vibrant colors.

Are these specs overkill for a keychain? Absolutely. But if you're reading this, you probably appreciate gear that's built to last - even when it doesn't need to be.

Who Is This For?

  • Divers who want a subtle way to signal "I'm a diver" without wearing a dive shop t-shirt every day
  • People who appreciate well-made things even when they're miniature and slightly ridiculous
  • Anyone looking for a Valentine's gift for a diver (yes, it's almost Valentine's Day—you're welcome)
  • Fidgeters who need something to do with their hands between dives

The Fine Print

Each spool is sold individually. They're not toys, so keep them away from kids. And yes, they're designed in California and made in China - same as a lot of quality gear in this industry.

You can grab one (or four, if you can't decide on a color) over on our product page.

Final Thoughts

Look, we know this product is a bit silly. But sometimes the best gear is the stuff that makes you smile when you use it - even if "use" just means attaching it to your keys and occasionally spinning it during a long debrief.

Plus, if you're going to carry a keychain anyway, it might as well be one that's machined from titanium and could theoretically handle a 6-inch jump line.

Stay safe out there (and keep your keys organized).
