Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received them
- Items must be returned in their original packaging
- You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase
A 5% restocking fee will be deducted from approved returns to cover inspection, handling, and processing costs.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
How to start a return
To start a return, you can visit your account at https://account.ruggedscuba.com or contact us at info@ruggedscuba.com.
If your return request is accepted:
- You will receive a return slip by email
- The return slip must be included inside the package
- You will receive instructions on where and how to send your return
Items sent back without an approved return request or without the return slip will not be accepted.

Inspection, condition & rejected returns
All returned items are inspected upon receipt.
If an item is returned in unacceptable condition - including signs of use, damage, missing parts, or missing original packaging - the return will be rejected and the item will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense. No refund will be issued.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable or consumable items (such as O2 grease, O2 cells, lubricants, chemicals), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), sale items, used gear, or gift cards. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without justification.
Returned items must still be:
- Unused and unworn
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. The 5% restocking fee still applies where permitted by law.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
