Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires California businesses to provide warnings about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Rugged Scuba provides the following product-specific warnings to comply with this law.

A Prop 65 warning does not mean a product is unsafe. It means that one or more listed chemicals may be present in the product or its components. Many of the materials flagged under Prop 65 - brass, stainless steel, chrome plating - have been used safely in dive equipment for decades.
